Singapore introduces property cooling measures, with stricter borrowing criteria and tighter limits for HDB loans
On Thursday, September 29, the government unveiled a series of property cooling measures that aim to curb demand and assure responsible borrowing in the face of rising interest rates.
The measures include tightening the credit facility quantum ceilings, which take effect on September 30.
The loan-to-value (LTV) maximum for HDB loans has been dropped from 85% to 80%.
